Job Summary

The Principal MEP Engineer (Building Services) based in Amman, Jordan, leads mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design efforts to ensure technical quality and supports multidisciplinary project delivery across the Middle East.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical design packages for building services projects
• Design HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems
• Ensure compliance with international codes such as ASHRAE, NFPA, BS, and local authority regulations
• Develop sustainable and energy-efficient design solutions
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors
• Prepare and review technical deliverables
• Support project delivery from concept to commissioning

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 8–15 years of experience in mechanical building services design
• Knowledge of international standards and local authority requirements
• Experience with building projects including commercial, residential, and mixed-use
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Experience in the Middle East preferred
