Job Summary

The Pre-Sales Systems Engineer at Everpure in Riyadh supports the digital transformation of major organizations by architecting data foundations and bridging traditional infrastructure with cloud-native solutions using the Everpure Platform and Portworx.

Responsibilities

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of customer business drivers and decision-making factors.
• Link technology solutions, including Everpure’s portfolio, to tangible customer business outcomes.
• Collaborate with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to ensure a unified customer experience and strategy that drives revenue and new business.
• Highlight the benefits of Everpure solutions with enthusiasm.
• Refine sales strategies and assume technical responsibilities.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise on storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and competitive storage solutions in DAS, NAS, and SAN.
• Manage evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations.
• Prepare and deliver technical product and architecture presentations to secure technical wins with clients and prospects.

Requirements

• Creativity, empathy, openness, curiosity, and eagerness to learn continuously.
• Pre-sales experience is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications; experience in enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software sales preferred.
• Strong knowledge of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing architectures.
• Experience in targeting new prospects and converting them into clients.
• Significant involvement or leadership in responding to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
• In-depth understanding of storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
• Familiarity with Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP is a plus.
• Experience with installation and configuration of distributed computing, multiprocessing, virtual memory subsystems, storage subsystems, shared memory, cache architectures, and windowing systems.
• Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, and Microservices architectures is a plus.
• Strong understanding of digital transformation to Cloud Native architecture, On-Prem, Public Cloud, Provisioning Automation, and Containers.
• Knowledge of VMware, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with modern web architectures such as LAMP stack, scale-out vs scale-up, AWS well-architected framework, and Microservices architecture is a plus.
• Passion for technology and ability to explain and demonstrate new technology platforms and concepts to customers.
• Experience with storage-intensive applications and structured databases like SQL and Oracle is highly desirable.
