Job Summary

The Pre-Sales Engineer will collaborate with the commercial team and potential clients to translate complex requirements into clear technical solutions. The role involves engagement throughout enterprise sales cycles, including discovery, solution design, demos, pilots, and handoff to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery during enterprise sales calls to understand customer architecture and operational needs.
• Design tailored solutions based on customer use cases and define technical scope for pilots and proofs of concept.
• Create customized demos and proofs of concept involving AI agents, workflows, integrations, APIs, and automations.
• Provide technical explanations of architecture, AI stack, integrations, security, infrastructure, and data flows to stakeholders.
• Engage with customer teams across engineering, security, IT, operations, and procurement to address technical queries during RFPs and assessments.
• Support integrations with platforms like Salesforce, Zendesk, Intercom, Genesys, ServiceNow, CRMs, ERPs, payment platforms, and internal APIs.
• Demonstrate AI use cases including voice, email, chat, WhatsApp, workflow automation, and agentic applications.
• Identify and resolve technical risks early in the sales process to avoid deal blockage.

Requirements

• Strong technical background with quick comprehension of complex software systems.
• Experience in solutions engineering, pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, implementation engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
• Solid understanding of APIs, REST, webhooks, authentication, integrations, and modern SaaS architectures.
• Ability to read API documentation and test APIs using tools like Postman.
• Capability to build lightweight integrations, scripts, prototypes, and proofs of concept using JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar languages.
• Good knowledge of AI and LLM-based systems and ability to explain AI technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Fluent English with strong written, spoken, and presentation skills.
• Ability to independently conduct technical discovery sessions and translate customer problems into technical architectures.
• Comfortable working directly with large enterprise customers in dynamic sales cycles with changing requirements.
• Strong ownership mentality and proactive approach to advancing opportunities.

Nice to haves

• Experience with customer experience or support platforms such as Salesforce Service Cloud, Zendesk, Intercom, Genesys, Talkdesk, or ServiceNow.
• Experience with contact centers, telephony, SIP, VoIP, or voice AI.
• Experience with enterprise security, SSO, SAML, OAuth, RBAC, and data residency requirements.
• Experience in regulated industries like financial services, payments, telecommunications, or healthcare.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud.
• Experience building or deploying AI agents or LLM applications.

• Gross base salary between JOD 1,800 and 2,800 per month.
