Job Summary

The Performance Monitoring Engineer will oversee and analyze the performance of Mobile Core Network components including CS, PS, IMS, IN, and International networks to ensure service quality and adherence to KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze network KPIs to identify degradations and suggest corrective and preventive measures.
• Conduct capacity assessments and forecast traffic, including planning for peak events such as Hajj, Ramadan, and Eid.
• Monitor performance of International voice, roaming, MVNO, and national roaming services.
• Configure and maintain performance statistical alarms, reports, and dashboards.
• Evaluate the effects of network changes, upgrades, and expansions.
• Prepare SLA, governance, and service impact reports.
• Support cross-functional teams with performance improvements and automation initiatives.

Requirements

• BSc degree in Telecommunication Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in Ericsson Mobile Core network performance.
• Strong understanding of CS, PS, IMS, and IN networks, including signaling protocols, interfaces, and call flows.
• Experience using ENIQ, ENM, BusinessObjects, and MasterClaw/eoLive.
• Proficiency in SQL, UNIX scripting, Power BI, and Excel.
• Strong analytical, forecasting, communication, and reporting abilities.
• Customer-focused mindset with ownership and ability to work effectively under pressure.
