مهندس مدني متوسط المستوى (Mid-Level Civil Engineer)

Job Summary

The Mid-Level Civil Engineer will support the team leader in managing contract-related tasks for the Aqaba Amman Water Desalination and Conveyance Project, assisting with procurement support and project coordination primarily based in Amman with travel to Aqaba.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a global team on key project tasks.
• Coordinate review of technical documents and deliverables from the Project Company.
• Prepare technical, commercial, and legal documents in Arabic and English.
• Work with supervisors and legal teams to draft and review project correspondence aligned with contract and legal requirements.
• Operate in a multidisciplinary, cross-cultural environment coordinating with local and international team members.
• Conduct site visits as needed and manage information collected from the project site.
• Provide technical review of various project deliverables.
• Attend conferences and workshops as directed to represent the company.

Requirements

• B.Sc. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
• Procurement experience in infrastructure contracts, preferably Build Operate Transfer (BOT) or FIDIC contracts.
• Understanding of water and wastewater systems design principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with Civil 3D is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Knowledge of project scheduling tools such as Primavera and MS Project.
• Reasonable understanding of project finance plans, strategies, and financial models.
• Skills in project CAPEX and OPEX analysis.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, including speaking, reading, and writing.
• Proven report writing skills.
• Knowledge of Jordanian laws, bylaws, and regulations related to project procurement processes.
• Jordanian citizenship and legal authorization to work in Jordan.
