مهندس IBS (IBS Engineer)

Job Summary

This role involves installing, commissioning, integrating, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Huawei IBS and telecom network equipment. The engineer supports network rollout, site implementation, fault resolution, and network optimization while ensuring quality and SLA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, integrate, and commission Huawei telecom and network equipment.
• Carry out IBS and site implementation tasks including equipment installation, cabling, power connections, and site acceptance.
• Configure Huawei transmission, IP, access, or wireless equipment as required by the project.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and resolve network or site faults.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Huawei equipment.
• Execute equipment upgrades, expansions, migrations, and software updates.
• Analyze alarms, logs, and performance problems, coordinating with NOC and technical teams for solutions.
• Conduct integration and acceptance testing per project requirements and prepare related reports.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of practical experience in telecom or network engineering.
• Strong familiarity with Huawei equipment and platforms.
• Knowledge of Huawei U2000, iManager, or similar Huawei network management systems.
• Understanding of IP networking, VLAN, routing, switching, Ethernet, and transmission basics.
• Experience in commissioning, integration, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
• Ability to interpret network diagrams, technical drawings, and equipment documentation.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.
• Willingness to work onsite at customer locations and perform fieldwork as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Huawei certifications considered an advantage.
• Experience with telecom operators or large-scale network rollout projects is preferred.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Valid driving license may be required for field roles.
