Job Summary

The Fire Protection Engineer will provide consultancy services including fire protection design, review, and inspection, as well as contribute to Fire Life Safety (FLS) strategy tasks when needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects to a high standard and ensure timely completion of all deliverables.
• Serve as the main contact for efficient project execution.
• Conduct fire protection design, drawing reviews, inspections, and prepare submissions for authority approvals.
• Write fire protection reports and prepare final Fire Protection and FLS Strategy reports when assigned.
• Lead the development of Fire Protection and FLS design deliverables.
• Manage FLS and multidisciplinary projects following AESG project management standards.
• Maintain traceability and version control of all designs and technical submissions.
• Engage in continuous professional development and support IMS implementation and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent related studies.
• At least 6 years of experience in fire protection engineering.
• Professional Engineer qualification such as CFPS, FE, NFPA, or equivalent.
• Extensive experience and high-level competencies in specialized fire protection areas.
• Leadership and management skills including team management or mentoring junior staff.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to manage project delivery independently, including smaller projects around $50k.
• Commercial acumen with experience assisting in proposals and managing project commercials.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills within area of responsibility.
