Job Summary

The Field Engineer will support the Medusa Sustainment project by implementing and optimizing hardware and software systems at customer sites, focusing on the U.S. Air Force’s defense against small unmanned aerial systems. This role includes system integration, troubleshooting, upgrades, and customer support.

Responsibilities

• Provide field engineering and technical support to maintain and sustain C-sUAS systems and software at various locations.
• Act as the primary engineering representative at customer sites.
• Implement and optimize hardware, software, and multi-vendor systems.
• Oversee integration of existing hardware, software, and network setups.
• Manage installation of software updates and hardware upgrades.
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues during installations.
• Provide customer feedback and support regarding product performance.
• Prepare and deliver reports and presentations on company products and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience or 6+ years of experience without a degree.
• Active Secret level security clearance.
• Security+ (Plus) certification.
• Experience with tactical networks and troubleshooting.
• Experience in field operator training.
• Skills in troubleshooting computer systems and networks.
• Good verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively under pressure.
• Capable of working independently with short deadlines.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Knowledge of personal computers, switches, routers, IP addressing, network topologies, and troubleshooting.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for various communication methods.
• Basic operational knowledge of VMware ESXi/VMware Infrastructure software.
• Basic operational use of Linux.
• Experience operating and maintaining Radar, Electronic Warfare (EW), and EO/IR camera systems.
• Experience with Wireshark data captures.
