Job Summary

This internship role at intelmatix in Riyadh offers hands-on experience in data science, focusing on building data-driven solutions for a Decision Intelligence platform alongside experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

• Help gather, clean, and organize data from multiple sources for analytical projects.
• Conduct basic exploratory data analysis to identify trends and anomalies under guidance.
• Support statistical modeling and machine learning experiments by preparing data and documenting outcomes.
• Create simple visualizations and reports to present initial findings.
• Maintain data documentation, metadata, and workflow logs.
• Participate in meetings, code reviews, and knowledge sharing to learn data science best practices.
• Research data science methods, tools, and trends as assigned.
• Assist senior data scientists with ad-hoc data requests and project documentation.

Must haves

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of Python or R programming.
• Fundamental understanding of statistics and probability.
• Familiarity with data manipulation libraries like Pandas or NumPy.
• Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and good English communication.

Nice to haves

• Relevant coursework or online certifications in data science or machine learning.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
• Experience with academic or personal data science projects and basic knowledge of Git.
