Job Summary

The Core Technical Lead will oversee the development of a new Request for Change function within Managed Services, focusing on technical governance, solution design, and change architecture in Core Network domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of solution architects and integrators.
• Analyze service requirements, high-level and low-level designs, and service design packages.
• Evaluate cross-domain impacts across CS Core, IMS, and PS Core.
• Define the overall implementation architecture and deployment strategy.
• Manage technical risk, impact, rollback, and dependency assessments.
• Establish testing, validation, KPI monitoring, and acceptance criteria.
• Review and approve methods of procedure, scripts, implementation plans, and change packages.
• Serve as technical authority during CAB reviews and major implementations.
• Support root cause analysis and post-implementation reviews.
• Promote architectural standards, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in telecom Core Networks.
• Strong expertise in CS Core and IMS, with good expertise in PS Core.
• Hands-on experience with UDC solution, 5G Core SA nodes, PGs, HSSs-FE, HLRs-FE, FNRs, MSSs Blade Cluster, MGWs, STPs, DSC, IP-STPs, GMSCs, CSCF, MTAS, EME, and AFG.
• Experience analyzing HLDs and LLDs, impact analysis, migrations, upgrades, and network transformations.
• Experience with change management, CAB governance, and operational handovers.
• Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.
• Experience with NFV, OpenStack, VMware, Kubernetes, or cloud-native Core solutions.
