Job Summary

The Business Operations Lead at Vardot manages and enhances systems related to sales, customer, and delivery data. This role involves hands-on work with HubSpot, internal app development, analytics management, and reporting to support various teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer HubSpot CRM, including managing properties, pipelines, deal stages, user roles, and permissions.
• Create and maintain workflows, sequences, lead scoring, and routing aligned with sales and delivery team processes.
• Ensure data quality through deduplication, enrichment, import standards, and governance.
• Manage integrations between HubSpot and tools like Jira, Slack, Google Workspace, accounting platforms, and internal apps using connectors, APIs, and webhooks.
• Design, build, and maintain internal tools on platforms such as Replit to bridge system gaps.
• Develop and maintain scripts, API integrations, and automations using JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.
• Utilize AI tools like Claude and AI agents to accelerate development and automate workflows.
• Create dashboards and reports for sales pipeline, forecasting, marketing attribution, and customer health, ensuring data privacy compliance.

Must haves

• 3 to 4 years of experience in CRM, RevOps, or sales/marketing operations, including at least 2 years as primary HubSpot administrator.
• Extensive hands-on experience with HubSpot workflows, custom objects, properties, reporting, and integrations.
• Proficiency in writing, debugging, and deploying code in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python, and working with REST APIs and webhooks.
• Strong skills in reporting, data modeling, dashboard creation, and data interpretation.
• Experience with SQL and data tools such as BigQuery or Looker Studio.
• Comfortable using AI tools like Claude and coding assistants in daily tasks.

Nice to haves

• Experience in digital agencies or professional services with pipelines linked to delivery and utilization.
• Familiarity with Jira, Tempo, Confluence, and Slack integrations.
• Experience building AI agents or MCP-based integrations.
• Knowledge of Google Tag Manager and web analytics platforms such as GA4 or Microsoft Clarity.
• HubSpot certifications.
