Job Summary

The 3D Designer & 3D Printing Specialist at AlWesam International in Riyadh is responsible for creating 3D models and preparing them for 3D printing of commemorative shields, gifts, and promotional products. The role includes operating and maintaining 3D printers and collaborating with design and marketing teams to deliver high-quality finished products.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop precise 3D models ready for production.
• Create commemorative shields, gifts, promotional, and custom products.
• Convert ideas and client requirements into executable 3D models.
• Use 3D design software such as Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, and AutoCAD for technical drawings.
• Prepare and optimize models for FDM 3D printing technology.
• Operate and maintain Bambu Lab 3D printers and use Bambu Studio software for print file preparation and settings adjustment.
• Troubleshoot printing issues and enhance print quality, speed, and material consumption.
• Perform post-print finishing including sanding, painting, coating, and assembly to achieve display-quality products.

Requirements

• Strong skills in 3D design and modeling using Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is an important advantage.
• Practical experience with 3D printing operations, calibration, and basic maintenance.
• Experience with Bambu Lab printers and Bambu Studio software is a significant plus.
• Good understanding of FDM printing processes, including support structures, infill, layer height, print orientation, and material selection.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve printing problems to achieve stable, high-quality results.
• Knowledge of post-processing techniques such as sanding, painting, coating, and assembly.
• Capability to interpret client briefs and translate them into feasible 3D designs.
• Attention to detail, quality focus, and ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines.
• Technical diploma, degree, or equivalent practical experience in 3D design, product design, or industrial design.
