Job Summary

The Technical Support Help Desk role involves providing basic technical assistance to employees, resolving hardware and software issues, and supporting the operation of IT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and update software and applications.
• Resolve printer-related problems including installation and connectivity.
• Support hardware and software issues for computers and laptops.
• Troubleshoot Windows operating system problems.
• Provide basic network support such as LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet troubleshooting.
• Assist users with Microsoft Office and email issues.
• Respond to IT support requests and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Maintain IT equipment and keep support records updated.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Networks, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in technical support or help desk roles; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of software installation and troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of printers, scanners, and IT peripherals.
• Basic networking knowledge including IP addresses, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
• Good communication skills and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to troubleshoot and provide effective technical support.
