Job Summary

The Pre-Sales Engineer provides technical expertise and engineering support to sales teams, partners, consultants, and end users. This role supports project design, product selection, technical compliance, training, and site assistance to promote Kidde Commercial and Edwards solutions in the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for fire and life safety systems.
• Conduct value engineering and optimize system designs.
• Support technical compliance statements and tender documentation preparation.
• Evaluate project upgrade and migration strategies.
• Review system architecture and solution designs.
• Assist sales teams with presentations, technical clarifications, and customer interactions.
• Conduct consultant workshops and technical presentations to promote product approvals and brand acceptance.
• Support onboarding, training, and enablement of Value-Added Resellers (VARs) and partners.

Requirements

• Saudi National.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Fire Protection Engineering, or related technical field.
• Entry level; knowledge or experience in fire and life safety or security systems is a plus.
• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to conduct technical training and workshops.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Customer-focused with a consultative approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
