Job Summary

This role in the Cloud Strategy and Operating Model team involves helping business and technology leaders develop cloud strategies that align with enterprise goals and deliver measurable value. The position is based in Amman and requires collaboration with teams across the Middle East, combining strategic problem-solving with knowledge of cloud technology and organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cloud strategy projects including assessments, maturity analysis, and roadmap creation.
• Convert business priorities into cloud ambitions, principles, and measurable goals.
• Assess options across various cloud environments using business, risk, financial, and technical criteria.
• Ensure cloud strategies align with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data, AI, resilience, sourcing, and technology agendas.
• Develop components of Cloud Target Operating Models such as governance, funding, service management, and skills.
• Support the setup of Cloud Centres of Excellence and cloud enablement teams.
• Define interactions among architecture, DevSecOps, IT service management, FinOps, and risk management.
• Contribute to investment cases, cloud economics assessments, and transformation roadmaps with clear initiatives and success metrics.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in technology strategy, cloud advisory, enterprise transformation, or operating-model design.
• Experience in cloud strategy, technology strategy, cloud operating-model, transformation, or advisory engagements.
• Ability to create structured analyses, maturity assessments, business cases, and transformation roadmaps.
• Understanding of cloud technology, economics, governance, risk, and organizational change.
• Strong skills in problem-solving, analysis, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management.
• Capability to work with stakeholders from business, technology, finance, security, risk, and procurement.
• Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, business, management, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is advantageous.

Nice to haves

• Experience with cloud financial management, FinOps, total-cost-of-ownership modeling, or benefits realization.
• Background in regulated industries, government, financial services, or critical infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Middle East data residency, sovereignty, cybersecurity, and procurement issues.
• Exposure to hybrid/multi-cloud strategy, platform strategy, application modernization, data platforms, or AI enablement.
• Experience in professional services, consulting, or technology advisory firms.
