Job Summary

The Head of Product Analytics & Experimentation at qlub leads the product analytics function and develops the experimentation framework to support growth, managing a team of BI analysts and collaborating with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire experimentation process, including scaling the A/B testing platform, establishing standards for test design, sample sizing, metrics, and reviewing outcomes.
• Train product managers and operations leaders to independently conduct experiments and create playbooks, templates, and review processes to standardize experimentation.
• Design the analytical data model covering entity and event structures, semantic layers, and metric definitions to ensure consistency across product flows.
• Implement data contracts and governance standards in partnership with Tech and Data Engineering to ensure proper design of new events and tables.
• Lead and mentor a team comprising three junior analysts and one senior analyst.

Must haves

• Over 5 years of experience in analytics or data science, including work at large data-driven companies or modern data/experimentation platforms.
• Practical experience in building or expanding experimentation programs with strong statistical knowledge such as power analysis, variance reduction, and sequential testing.
• Expertise in data modelling including dimensional modelling, slowly changing dimensions, event schema design, dbt, and advanced SQL skills.
• Proven ability to drive organizational change and adoption of new practices among non-technical teams.
• Effective communication skills with executives and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to haves

• Experience in data science and predictive modelling including forecasting.
• Familiarity with building AI-first data stacks and applying AI-first approaches to analytics.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks, marketing analytics, and attribution.
• Experience with tools like dbt, Airflow, Git, Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, ClickHouse, and data cataloguing tools such as Atlan, Alation, or OpenMetadata.
