Job Summary

The Shopify Developer at Leaders Center in Amman is responsible for developing and managing the Shopify store, integrating it with company systems, and ensuring synchronization of orders, inventory, and pricing. The role also focuses on payment processing, bilingual storefront management, and maintaining performance, security, and business continuity.

Responsibilities

• Convert approved sales plans and campaigns into technical requirements and tasks.
• Develop and maintain Shopify stores including product management, categories, search, cart, checkout, and user experience.
• Implement technical SEO related to crawling, indexing, site structure, speed, redirects, and performance.
• Manage product data, variations, pricing, availability, images, and content updates across digital platforms.
• Optimize website performance across devices and resolve technical issues affecting browsing and purchasing.
• Implement and monitor analytics, tracking events, orders, conversions, and provide technical performance reports.
• Manage integrations between Shopify, SAP, payment gateways, invoicing systems, and other platforms.
• Coordinate with technology vendors and support technical evaluation and integration of new suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands-on web development experience; preferably 5+ years including 3 years in Shopify development or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with experience in APIs and version control tools.
• Experience in integrations, data migration, system testing, and error handling.
• Experience with ERP systems, Arabic e-commerce stores, and RTL support is preferred.
• Strong documentation and communication skills with ability to estimate effort and prioritize tasks.
