Job Summary

The Deputy CTO will assist in leading the organization’s technology efforts, focusing on backend development and supporting the CTO in technical and strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the CTO in managing technology development activities.
• Provide technical leadership and supervision for backend engineering projects.
• Support the design, development, and upkeep of backend systems and applications.
• Participate in decisions regarding technical architecture and scalable solutions.
• Analyze technical issues and suggest solutions.
• Help implement technology strategies and engineering priorities.
• Enhance backend development processes, system performance, and technical capabilities.
• Work collaboratively with the CTO and other stakeholders on technology initiatives.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in software development and related technology roles.
• Extensive hands-on experience in backend development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and senior management.
