Job Summary

The Key Account Executive Poultry at Cargill is responsible for medium to long term planning and direct selling of complex products and solutions to an assigned group of existing clients, while also developing new clients and opportunities. The role involves building sales plans and strategies to grow and protect customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Identify and lead interactions with assigned customers to address sales opportunities.
• Seek and pursue new market segments and business development opportunities, including calculating return on investment.
• Monitor market developments to align with company goals, competitor actions, and industry trends.
• Lead and participate in problem resolution to ensure high-quality customer service.
• Develop client acquisition, retention, and growth strategies with minimal mentorship.
• Implement sales plans to protect, grow, and diversify relationships with targeted customers.
• Review and report on customer retention, business opportunities, and market trends.
• Handle complex issues independently, escalating only the most complex to appropriate staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of four years of related work experience, especially with poultry.
• Five to ten years of combined experience in sales, marketing, and business development preferred.
