Job Summary

The IT Analytics Engineer will lead the design and enhancement of enterprise semantic models and analytical solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem, ensuring alignment between business needs and data architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient Power BI semantic models and datasets.
• Create complex DAX measures, calculations, and business logic for enterprise reporting.
• Define business logic to convert data into reliable analytical assets.
• Apply advanced semantic modeling techniques such as calculation groups and composite models.
• Optimize models and datasets using Microsoft Fabric technologies.
• Set standardized definitions and establish a single source of truth for enterprise metrics.
• Utilize AI-powered features in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to enhance development and productivity.
• Implement data governance standards including Row-Level Security and Object-Level Security.

Requirements

• 5-8+ years of experience in data modeling, business intelligence, or analytics engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Power BI development and DAX optimization.
• Proven ability to design scalable and complex Power BI semantic models.
• Expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric components such as Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, OneLake, and Data Pipelines.
• Understanding of Star Schema design and Medallion Architecture principles.
• Experience with enterprise data governance and security frameworks.
• Familiarity with AI-powered analytics and automation in reporting environments.
• Experience working with relational databases like Oracle.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
