Job Summary

The Salesforce Technical Architect will lead the technical design of a large-scale Salesforce program for a major enterprise client in Saudi Arabia. This role involves owning the technical architecture across the Salesforce ecosystem and connected systems, ensuring solutions meet business and technical needs while guiding development teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage the complete Salesforce architecture covering Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, Data Cloud, and industry-specific clouds.
• Collaborate with business and functional leaders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Assess and design integration patterns between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware, and event-driven methods.
• Ensure all solutions comply with enterprise standards for scalability, security, and performance.
• Lead development teams through design reviews, best practices, and code quality supervision.
• Define API standards and data models, including canonical models, to support a robust architecture.
• Assist pre-sales activities by providing solutioning, effort estimation, and architectural guidance.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation such as ERDs, sequence diagrams, data mappings, and architecture blueprints.

Must haves

• 8+ years of client-facing consulting experience in Salesforce architecture and solution design.
• 8+ years hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, MuleSoft, and Marketing Cloud (preferred).
• Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written) and English.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh or Jeddah.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Strong skills in system documentation (ERDs, process flows, sequence diagrams).
• Proven ability to design scalable integration patterns with external systems.
• Salesforce certifications including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Agentforce, and one or more Architect domain certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect).
• Experience with agile methodologies including estimation and planning across multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to haves

• Experience with event streaming on Kafka / Confluent, including consumer groups, Schema Registry, and Avro/JSON serialization.
• Experience in data transformation and mapping from nested JSON and EDIFACT into canonical relational models.
• Experience with Data Cloud, MuleSoft, Field Service, or Revenue Cloud.
• Previous delivery experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region.
