مهندس L2 DevOps (L2 DevOps Engineer)

Job Summary

The L2 DevOps Engineer role supports the stability, availability, and performance of enterprise banking platforms by managing operational support, environment management, automation, and incident resolution across production and non-production environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 operational support for banking applications in development, testing, UAT, and production environments.
• Monitor system health, infrastructure, and application performance to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Troubleshoot and resolve environment, deployment, pipeline, and infrastructure problems beyond Level 1 capabilities.
• Maintain and support CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, and platform configurations.
• Manage containerized and cloud-based environments including Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, and AWS.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring incidents and assist in implementing permanent solutions.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to support application deployments, hotfixes, and configuration changes.
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and banking requirements applicable in KSA.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in DevOps, Platform, or Infrastructure Support roles.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitLab CI.
• Proficient with OpenShift platform.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix systems and scripting languages like Bash and PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms Azure and/or AWS.
• Understanding of ITIL-based operations, incident, and problem management.
• Experience supporting production systems with high availability and strict SLAs.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
