Job Summary

The Senior Quality Engineer at Aspire is responsible for developing and executing both exploratory and automated tests to ensure the quality of software products. This role is key in the product development lifecycle, focusing on verifying that software meets client requirements and operates efficiently before release.

Responsibilities

• Analyze User Stories for assigned projects and communicate any questions or clarifications directly with the client.
• Ensure the testing team fully understands the project requirements.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
• Perform timely testing for each software build as requested by the client.
• Provide status updates to the client as needed.
• Develop and oversee the testing plan for production releases and manage testing activities on release day.
• Select appropriate test scenarios for automation and develop, run, and maintain automated tests using Tricentis Tosca.
• Improve and maintain the test automation framework and automated test suites continuously.
• Analyze automation test results, investigate failures, and report and track defects accordingly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in software testing, including practical experience with Web and Mobile testing.
• Strong expertise in Web and Mobile testing.
• Proficient in API testing and validating API responses.
• Experience with Database testing.
• Hands-on experience with test automation using Tricentis Tosca.
• Skilled in designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test cases.
• Ability to understand and analyze complex software requirements and specifications.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect management tools like Jira is a plus.
• Knowledge or awareness of IT security best practices based on ISO/SOC or similar standards.
