Job Summary

This role involves developing and maintaining Laika’s legal AI product used daily by lawyers for research, drafting, and review in both Arabic and English. The engineer works closely with founders and the Head of AI to enhance the live system.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy the product used by lawyers alongside the founders and Head of AI on an active system.
• Create workflows within Laika that support Arabic and English languages, accommodating right-to-left and left-to-right text directions.
• Quickly address identified issues by shipping fixes, monitoring usage, and iterating on the product.

Requirements

• Strong full-stack engineering skills.
• Attention to detail noticeable by users.
• Comfortable with high accuracy requirements where approximate solutions are insufficient.
• Ability to determine development priorities without predefined specifications.
• Arabic language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
