Job Summary

The Specialist – Machine Learning at Almosafer is responsible for developing and deploying machine learning models and algorithms to address complex business challenges. This role involves collaboration with data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders to create scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms.
• Work with data scientists to improve data features and model accuracy.
• Enhance and optimize existing machine learning models for better performance.
• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and analysis.
• Maintain and monitor models in production environments.
• Document model designs and share performance results with stakeholders.
• Keep up to date with advancements in machine learning and AI.
• Engage in code reviews and support continuous improvement practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• Experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as AWS BedRock, Amazon SageMaker, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP for model deployment.
• Skills in data manipulation and analysis tools including SQL, Pandas, and NumPy.
• Experience with deep learning and natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
• Understanding of model interpretability and explainability.
• Ability to perform statistical analysis and retrain systems to optimize performance.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with AI/GenAI technologies.
• Knowledge of AWS data services including AWS EMR, AWS Glue, and AWS Athena.
• Ability to design, build, and deploy API services.
