Job Summary

The Data Analyst II – Credit role at Tamara involves developing analytical solutions and supporting data-driven decision making within the Credit department. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders and focuses on enhancing product success metrics through data.

Responsibilities

• Generate business impact by providing actionable insights and identifying growth opportunities.
• Create dashboards delivering precise and useful insights.
• Collaborate with the data engineering team to fulfill data enrichment requirements for the product team.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders to prioritize projects by impact and ensure their completion.
• Establish processes to detect, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to support stakeholder decisions.
• Maintain governance and uphold sound analytical practices throughout the process.

Requirements

• More than 4 years of experience in data analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related analytical field; candidates from other fields with relevant experience are also considered.
• Practical experience using programming languages such as Python or R to analyze large data sets.
• Proficiency in one or more SQL implementations like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of a relevant domain such as Finance, Risk, or Product.
• Experience with Machine Learning tools and techniques in R or Python is a plus.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik.
• Experience creating visualizations and dashboards using Apache Superset is a bonus.
• Experience working in a high-growth startup or unicorn is a bonus.
