Job Summary

Design and develop Element Management System (EMS) and Network Management System (NMS) solutions for telecom networks, focusing on management platform architectures that support multi-domain and multi-vendor operations aligned with NOC and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design EMS and NMS architectures for managing multi-domain, multi-vendor networks.
• Create detailed high-level and low-level designs for network management systems across IP/MPLS, DWDM, access, and security domains.
• Define management network topology, out-of-band management interfaces, and protocol architectures.
• Design connectivity between network elements and management platforms using NETCONF/YANG, SNMP, CLI, and REST APIs.
• Develop fault management architectures including alarm correlation, deduplication, escalation, and notifications.
• Design configuration management workflows for automated provisioning, backup, and compliance.
• Develop performance management architectures for KPI collection, monitoring, reporting, and trending.
• Design northbound integration between EMS/NMS and OSS/BSS systems including interface and data exchange models.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master of Engineering in Telecommunications, IT, or Computer Science.
• At least 7 years of experience in EMS/NMS design and network management integration.
• Strong knowledge of FCAPS, OSS/BSS integration, and management protocols such as NETCONF, SNMP, and REST.
• Experience with multi-domain, multi-vendor network management platform design and integration.
• Familiarity with EMS/NMS platforms like Ericsson OSS, Nokia NetAct, Huawei U2000, and Ciena MCP.
• Good communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Experience with automation, network programmability, and model-driven management is a plus.
