Job Summary
This role involves developing and enhancing customer-facing and internal admin frontend applications, focusing on migrating a React codebase from plain JavaScript to TypeScript and modernizing the user interface.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain React-based user-facing features
- Lead the transition of a React codebase from JavaScript to TypeScript
- Refactor and rebuild UI components during platform modernization
- Work closely with backend engineers and designers on interface and API agreements
- Support frontend testing and uphold code quality standards
Must haves
- At least 3 years of professional frontend engineering experience
- Strong skills in React and modern JavaScript
- Experience with TypeScript, including JS-to-TS migration
- Good understanding of component architecture, state management, and API integration
- Attention to clean and user-friendly interface design
- Proficient in written and spoken English
Nice to haves
- Experience with e-commerce or storefront user interfaces
- Knowledge of modern build tools and frontend testing frameworks
- Familiarity with AI coding tools and LLM-based development workflows
