Job Summary

The Information Technology Support Officer provides daily technical assistance to internal users in Amman, Jordan. The role includes troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, as well as maintaining IT equipment and user accounts.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network problems to internal users.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, peripheral devices, and printers.
• Manage user accounts and perform system updates.
• Apply basic cybersecurity practices to protect IT systems.
• Document support requests and maintain an inventory of IT assets.
• Collaborate with other teams to minimize downtime and ensure reliable IT services.
• Support IT-related projects within the organization.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of technology and user experience.

Requirements

• Strong technical support and troubleshooting skills.
• Solid knowledge of Information Technology fundamentals and best practices.
• Practical experience with desktop computer setup, configuration, and maintenance.
• Hands-on skills in printer installation and issue resolution.
• Basic knowledge of networking, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and user account administration.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Experience in IT support within healthcare or pharmaceutical environments is an advantage.
