Job Summary

The Senior Service Sales Engineer at ABB in Riyadh is responsible for executing service work of low to medium complexity, engaging with customers to evaluate installed electrical equipment, and driving service sales to meet company targets.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or surpass assigned service portfolio targets, focusing on baseline orders and major projects to meet company KPIs.
• Initiate communication with customers and perform on-site technical assessments of installed equipment such as switchgear, circuit breakers, and relays to identify risks, upgrade possibilities, and performance issues.
• Identify and qualify new sales leads and develop a growing pipeline using the Salesforce platform.
• Collaborate internally with operations and engineering teams to define service scope, technical requirements, and execution milestones.
• Prepare, submit, and negotiate commercial quotations and technical proposals following company pricing policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3-8 years of experience in Service Sales within utility, industrial, commercial, electrical, or manufacturing sectors in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, including medium- and low-voltage equipment, automation, asset maintenance, and installed base management.
• Proven skills in presentation, negotiation, contract management, and closing high-value service deals.
