Systems Engineer – Giga Projects

Job Summary

The Systems Engineer will collaborate closely with sales representatives in Riyadh to provide technical support throughout pre-sales, sales, and post-sales phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical activities during the sales cycle with Enterprise customers, including managing RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and participating in POCs alongside internal teams and customers or partners.
• Understand customer technical needs deeply to design superior solutions compared to competitors.
• Serve as the main technical contact for customers and partners, working closely with sales colleagues.
• Continuously enhance knowledge of Fortinet products, solutions, and the competitive environment to address evolving security threats.
• Effectively present Fortinet solutions remotely or in person using various communication methods such as whiteboarding and technical documentation.
• Manage multiple deals simultaneously while ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Keep accurate records of activities, contacts, and technical account information in Salesforce CRM.

Requirements

• Strong aptitude for security technologies including encryption and authentication; knowledge of network security, intrusion detection, anti-virus, routing, switching, LAN, and WAN is desirable.
• Experience in a pre-sales engineer role handling technical aspects of deals through to closure.
• Proven problem-solving skills impacting key wins in current or previous roles.
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships and communicate technical information effectively to diverse stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.
