Business Support Specialist

Job Summary

The Business Support Specialist at Equiti in Amman provides technical and business assistance by troubleshooting issues, managing user relationships, monitoring system performance, and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve problems across applications and systems.
• Communicate effectively with users to address concerns and provide timely solutions.
• Monitor system performance and proactively handle production issues.
• Analyze data to identify trends and support business decisions.
• Develop documentation such as user guides and technical references.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, Development, and Business Units for successful service delivery.
• Support release activities and ensure proper handover to business users.
• Prepare management reports including status updates and KPI performance.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in technical or business support roles like System Engineer, Technical Business Analyst, or Developer.
• Experience with CRMs, web applications, and databases.
• Strong technical skills in troubleshooting applications, databases, and integrations.
• Proficiency in SQL querying, log analysis, and basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML.
• Familiarity with ITSM processes based on ITIL foundation.
• Experience using ServiceNow, Salesforce, Atlassian Suite, or Microsoft DevOps.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Analytical thinking with problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of payment providers, trading platforms, mobile apps, and programming concepts (Python, C#, Angular, Flutter) is a plus.
