OSP Network Designer – Damascus Based

Job Summary

This role involves providing expertise and quality assurance in OSP design, covering civil and fiber works, to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Validate site survey reports for civil and fiber infrastructure accuracy.
• Work with cross-functional teams to verify survey data, resolve discrepancies, and update inventory.
• Create civil and fiber-optic network designs based on survey data and engineering standards.
• Produce detailed engineering drawings and documentation using QGIS, ArcGIS, or similar tools.
• Ensure designs comply with local and national codes and industry standards.
• Prepare and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for civil and fiber projects including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Document design changes and survey updates for future reference and audits.
• Submit all designs and documentation within set deadlines and update As-Built drawings to reflect construction changes.

Requirements

• At least 7 years in telecommunications with 5 years in design and engineering roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Knowledge of OSP work, processes, and industry best practices.
• Experience with OSP design tools such as Geographic Information System or AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in English.
• International experience from developed markets.
