SASE Solutions Engineer

Job Summary

The SASE Solutions Engineer at Cisco supports EMEA customers by guiding enterprise transformation in networking, security, cloud, and identity through Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) architectures.

Responsibilities

• Create long-term technical plans to transition customers from traditional networking and security to cloud-based SASE solutions.
• Align technology strategies with business goals like secure hybrid work and multi-cloud adoption for senior technology leaders.
• Lead technical demos, workshops, and proof-of-value projects to show improvements in security, user experience, and cost efficiency.
• Design integrated solutions involving Cisco SD-WAN, SSE, SASE, Zero Trust, networking, security, identity, and observability technologies.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to incorporate customer feedback into product development.
• Support strategic partners through technical training and joint customer engagements to increase adoption and market presence.

Must haves

• Experience designing, installing, and maintaining LAN, WAN, and security technology architectures.
• Proven knowledge of implementing security protocols relevant to network infrastructure and enterprise security.
• Experience working with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) deployment models.

Nice to haves

• Over 5 years as a Technical Sales Architect or Solutions Engineer leading technical sales processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting complex technical ideas to senior executives and varied audiences.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities to resolve technical and sales challenges effectively.
