Product Manager (CleverSo)

Job Summary

The Product Manager for CleverSo at Arabic.AI leads the strategy, roadmap, and backlog of the localization platform, collaborating with multiple teams to align product development with client needs and market trends.

Responsibilities

• Manage the product strategy, roadmap, and backlog from vision to delivery for CleverSo.
• Determine which features become reusable platform capabilities versus client-specific customizations.
• Monitor the localization and AI-translation market and competitors to guide product positioning and roadmap decisions.
• Present product vision, roadmap, and progress to investors, clients, and leadership, and contribute to related materials.
• Engage directly with key clients through discovery sessions and demos to translate their needs into platform priorities.
• Utilize AI tools to quickly create proofs of concept and prototypes, validating them with stakeholders before engineering commitment.
• Lead the delivery team through refinement, planning, and reviews, making final decisions on scope and trade-offs.
• Collaborate with Engineering on technical direction, architecture decisions, and release planning.
• Define and report on product KPIs including adoption, retention, revenue impact, and platform health to leadership.

Must haves

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Business, Translation, or related field.
• 4-6 years of product management experience owning strategy and roadmap for a live B2B software product.
• Experience in the translation/localization industry with knowledge of LSP and enterprise localization workflows (TEP, vendor management, QA, project handoffs).
• Hands-on experience with Translation Management Systems such as XTM, Phrase, Smartling, memoQ, or Trados, preferably on the product side.
• Working knowledge of CAT tool concepts including translation memory, termbases, file filters, and MT integration.
• Proven practical use of AI tools for product work, including building POCs and clickable prototypes (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Lovable, v0, Figma Make), with examples of past prototypes.
• Experience presenting confidently to senior stakeholders, clients, and investors.
• Strong commercial understanding linking roadmap decisions to revenue, retention, and client value.
• Deep Agile delivery experience and proficiency with Jira and Confluence or equivalents.
• Solid technical understanding of APIs, integrations, and data flows to discuss trade-offs with engineers.
• Clear communication skills with the ability to push back on scope and justify decisions.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.

Nice to haves

• CSPO, PSPO, or SAFe POPM certification.
• Experience with B2B or multi-client SaaS platforms managing competing client requests on the same roadmap.
• Experience supporting fundraising or investor due diligence.
• Familiarity with UX basics such as wireframing in Figma.
