Database Administrator ( Mid-Level DBA)

Job Summary

The Database Administrator (Mid Level DBA) manages and supports enterprise database environments, focusing on PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and/or MySQL. This role involves database administration, performance tuning, backup, recovery, and collaboration with technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot databases
• Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain database systems
• Handle database backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery processes
• Monitor database performance, availability, capacity, and health
• Perform SQL and database performance tuning
• Manage users, roles, permissions, and database security
• Troubleshoot and resolve database incidents and performance issues
• Support database migrations, upgrades, and maintenance activities

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Database Administrator
• Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and/or MySQL
• Good knowledge of SQL, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting
• Experience with HA/DR and database replication
• Knowledge of database security, access management, and monitoring tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Saudi National
