Job Summary

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer leads mechanical design efforts for multidisciplinary projects, focusing on HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems while ensuring design quality and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design activities in multidisciplinary projects.
• Mentor engineers and foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
• Own the design deliverables for HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems.
• Manage BIM coordination, design quality, and uphold technical standards.
• Plan workloads, prioritize tasks, and maintain project progress.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement improved work processes.
• Detect problems early and develop actionable solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in mechanical engineering design and team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of international and Saudi engineering codes and standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and SBC.
• Expertise in BIM standards, workflows, and coordination tools including Revit MEP, Navisworks, and ISO 19650.
• Capability to manage personnel, priorities, and deadlines without sacrificing quality.
• Effective communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
