Job Summary
The Senior Mechanical BIM Engineer will be responsible for mechanical design and shop drawings, leading engineering teams, and working on HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems in projects based in Amman, Jordan.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage mechanical engineering teams.
- Develop mechanical design and shop drawings.
- Perform HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting design and calculations.
- Prepare and submit Shop Drawings, IFC, and As-Built documents.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP for design tasks.
- Apply knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, or equivalent standards.
- Coordinate and solve engineering problems effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in Mechanical Design and Shop Drawings.
- Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
- Hands-on experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting design and calculations.
- Experience with Shop Drawings, IFC, and As-Built submissions.
- Good knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, or equivalent standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in large-scale or international projects is a plus.
- Knowledge of Navisworks/BIM coordination is an advantage.
