Mid Generative AI Engineer – (12 Months Contracts)

Job Summary

This role involves developing scoped Generative AI features for a Saudi organization, working under expert guidance and following approved architecture and tools. The engineer will create n8n workflows and code that integrate AI with enterprise services while ensuring data privacy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop scoped LLM/Generative AI features according to the agreed architecture and expert engineer’s direction.
• Design and maintain n8n workflows using authenticated APIs, webhooks, and approved enterprise data connections.
• Implement data transformations and supporting code with reliable error handling, retries, and validation of outputs.
• Maintain prompts, configurations, and repeatable test cases for evaluation and review of changes.
• Analyze issues using logs and test data, collaborating with QA and DevOps teams on fixes and releases.
• Document workflows, interfaces, and operational procedures, contributing to client handover and knowledge transfer.

Must haves

• 3-7 years of experience in software, data, or AI engineering, including recent work in Generative AI.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in CS, AI, data science, software engineering, or equivalent.
• Practical experience building LLM applications connected to services or data beyond standalone demos.
• Hands-on experience with n8n including triggers/webhooks, API connections, credential management, data mapping, and error handling.
• Proficiency in Python or similar languages for implementing and troubleshooting beyond visual nodes.
• Ability to test output behavior, adhere to data and access controls, use source control, and deliver documented features within agreed designs.
• Compliance with client-approved models, tools, and hosting environments.

Nice to haves

• Experience with RAG or document processing.
• Work on Arabic-language applications, enterprise integration, or government/regulated projects.
• Familiarity with AI-output testing, workflow monitoring, and CI/CD processes.
