Integration / API Engineer (.NET)

Job Summary

This role involves developing and maintaining APIs and integrations using .NET technologies, connecting internal systems with national and government platforms, and ensuring secure and reliable data exchange.

Responsibilities

• Create and update APIs and integration points linking internal systems, national platforms, and government services.
• Implement integration modifications for payment gateways and public service platforms.
• Develop .NET/C# integration components, verify data mappings, and manage authentication securely.
• Handle errors, timeouts, retries, and duplicate requests, including payment reconciliation processes.
• Collaborate with QA teams to test API behavior and failure scenarios of external services.
• Maintain technical interface documentation and specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or related field.
• 3 to 7 years of experience in software engineering and integration.
• Practical experience developing and maintaining production APIs in C#/.NET, with ASP.NET Core highly relevant.
• Strong understanding of API contracts, HTTP/JSON interfaces, and payload mapping.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot using logs, database queries, and testing tools.
• Experience with payment integrations, callbacks, or Saudi public-sector integrations is preferred.
