Job Summary

The Data Analyst – Healthcare role involves interpreting data, applying statistical techniques, and supporting business stakeholders by creating reports and dashboards related to population and public health services for regulatory use.

Responsibilities

• Interpret data and analyze results using statistical methods to provide continuous reports
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and analytics strategies to enhance statistical efficiency and quality
• Obtain data from primary or secondary sources
• Assist in building models and analyzing data to identify trends and patterns
• Help develop models covering various healthcare operations
• Identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex datasets
• Suggest methods to improve healthcare quality and reduce costs
• Clean data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to fix code issues

Requirements

• Knowledge of statistics and experience with statistical software such as Excel, SPSS, SAS
• Strong analytical skills to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of information accurately
• Proficiency in query writing, report generation, and presenting findings
• Use visualization tools to present healthcare reports and insights
• Collaborate with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Identify new opportunities for process improvement
• Support building predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
