Job Summary
The Field Application Specialist at Bio-Rad Clinical Diagnostics Group in Riyadh provides technical expertise, application support, and customer training for Quality Control, HbA1c, Hemoglobinopathies, and Autoimmune product lines, supporting sales and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Ensure both short-term and long-term successful sales results within the Quality Control products and informatics solutions application area.
- Use scientific knowledge in field sales to create new business opportunities via meetings, demonstrations, seminars, webinars, and training.
- Offer field application support to customers using installed instruments, collaborating with Technical Support, Service, and Sales teams.
- Plan, execute, and follow up on sales activities targeting high-value customers and key market segments, focusing on Key Opinion Leaders and Decision Makers at strategic accounts.
- Maintain expert knowledge of relevant technology and applications, including training the sales team and understanding the full product portfolio to identify sales opportunities.
Requirements
- Academic degree in a relevant scientific discipline, such as a bachelor’s in medical laboratory sciences.
- Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Experience in sales and/or laboratory work.
- Experience presenting at seminars, workshops, or trainings is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
