PMCM Senior MEP Engineer

Job Summary

The PMCM Senior MEP Engineer will oversee MEP systems related to roads, tunnels, and infrastructure, providing technical leadership and ensuring compliance with standards and stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight and governance for MEP systems across roads, tunnels, utilities, and structures within the program.
• Serve as the PMO point of contact for all MEP-related issues, coordinating between design consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Review and assure technical quality of MEP designs including tunnel ventilation, power supply, lighting, firefighting, drainage pumping, SCADA, utility diversions, and control systems.
• Ensure MEP systems meet local authority requirements, international standards, and RCRC design criteria.
• Lead design reviews, constructability assessments, and value engineering workshops for MEP systems.
• Identify and manage technical, interface, and delivery risks related to MEP at the program level.
• Coordinate interfaces between MEP and civil, structural, ITS, traffic, and utility disciplines.
• Support preparation of technical reports, decision papers, dashboards, and executive summaries related to MEP scope.

Must haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 6 years of progressive MEP engineering experience on large-scale roads, tunnels, and infrastructure projects.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent internationally recognized professional registration.
• Experience with tunnel MEP systems including ventilation, power distribution, lighting, life safety, firefighting, drainage, and control systems.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems for roads and urban infrastructure including utilities corridors and interface management.
• Experience in PMO or program-level roles on major infrastructure programs.

Nice to haves

• Experience in mega infrastructure or urban roads programs in the GCC or Middle East.
• Experience working with public sector clients and authorities.
• Familiarity with smart roads infrastructure and digital integration.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
