DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

The DevOps Engineer will develop and maintain a sustainable infrastructure for client applications at a fintech and trading company, ensuring high capability and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure on AWS.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Write and maintain Shell and Python scripts for infrastructure and application management.
• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications with Kubernetes, ensuring high availability.
• Design, implement, and manage database systems including MYSQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Github, Gitlab, or Jenkins, integrating automated testing and security scanning.
• Set up and manage monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, NewRelic, or DataDog.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure smooth integration, deployment, and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Github or Gitlab.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools including Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ElasticSearch, NewRelic, or DataDog.
• Knowledge of MYSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, REDIS, and Kafka.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and network protocols.
• Good scripting skills in Shell and Python are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
