Senior Structural Engineer

Job Summary

The Senior Structural Engineer will lead the design, analysis, and construction supervision of complex transportation infrastructure projects in Riyadh, ensuring structural safety and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis for transportation infrastructure including bridges, tunnels, viaducts, and retaining walls following client and international standards.
• Perform structural assessments, load calculations, and finite element analyses to evaluate durability and resilience.
• Provide technical oversight and conduct site inspections during construction to monitor progress, quality, and compliance.
• Implement quality assurance and control measures to ensure safe and efficient construction aligned with approved designs.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize designs and construction methods while maintaining structural integrity.
• Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to explore alternative design solutions and best practices.
• Assess and mitigate structural risks related to construction, materials, and environmental factors, ensuring safety compliance.
• Engage with clients, regulatory authorities, and communities to address needs and facilitate communication and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 15 years of experience in structural engineering with site supervision in construction consultancy.
• Professional engineering license or equivalent certification preferred.
• Extensive experience in design, analysis, and construction of transportation infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro and CAD tools.
• Strong project management skills including team leadership, budget, and schedule management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and stakeholder relations.
• Proven success in delivering projects focused on safety, quality, and innovation.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
