Data Scientist/Senior Analyst – Supply Analytics

Job Summary

The Supply Analytics team seeks a Senior Analyst to deliver data-driven insights and decision support for Agoda’s supply ecosystem. You will analyze partner and marketplace dynamics, build forecasts and models, run experiments, and create dashboards and data products that power strategic direction and operational execution.

Responsibilities

• Translate internal briefs into analytical projects by refining requirements, developing hypotheses, and storyboarding outputs
• Analyze data from large-scale data warehouses and present statistically rigorous analysis to business stakeholders
• Proactively identify growth opportunities within supply and the broader business
• Drive new analytical initiatives and projects to improve organizational efficiency and shape Agoda’s supply strategy
• Lead projects aimed at scaling how the Supply organization leverages data, insights, and intelligence
• Automate manual operational processes and report on time savings achieved through business operations modernization

Requirements

• 2-5+ years of experience working as an Analyst in analytics, data science, insights, strategy, or BI
• Advanced working knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with data visualization tools, preferably Tableau
• Expert proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools including Excel and Python or R
• Bachelor’s degree in a business or quantitative subject such as computer science, mathematics, engineering, science, economics, or finance
• Understanding of statistical modeling or machine learning techniques including hypothesis testing, regression, logistic regression, and random forest
• Experience conducting A/B testing and experimentation
• Strong ability to identify data insights and provide business recommendations
• Proven stakeholder management experience and comfort presenting to senior leadership and C-suite
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills

Nice to haves

• MBA or Master’s degree in a quantitative subject such as computer science, mathematics, engineering, science, economics, or finance
• Program management certifications such as PMI or PRINCE2
• Asian market experience
• Experience in travel industry, e-commerce, tech, or consulting
