Job Summary
Systems Arabia is seeking an experienced Android Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality mobile applications. The role involves building scalable solutions, integrating APIs, and collaborating across product, design, backend, and QA teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications
- Build scalable, reliable, and high-performance mobile solutions
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party services
- Implement responsive UI based on design specifications
- Troubleshoot bugs, crashes, and performance issues
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests
- Collaborate with product, UI/UX, backend, and QA teams
Requirements
- 4–7 years of professional Android development experience
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle
- Experience with Jetpack components and MVVM/MVI or similar architecture
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, Retrofit, and OkHttp
- Experience with Room/SQLite or other local storage solutions
- Knowledge of Firebase and push notifications
- Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows
- Good understanding of application security and performance optimization
- Experience with automated testing is preferred; Jetpack Compose experience is a plus
