Technical Strategy & Architecture Lead

Job Summary

Lead the technical vision, architecture, and engineering for a new platform at a digital logistics firm. Develop scalable design across systems, applications, and data platforms while ensuring delivery efficiency and strong quality and security outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with company strategic goals and future scalability
• Lead architecture design across cloud infrastructure, software applications, and data ecosystems for the new platform
• Establish and lead the Digital Factory operating model to ensure efficient, collaborative development
• Implement DevOps and CI/CD practices to streamline development and deployment
• Oversee software development activities to ensure quality, performance, and delivery timelines
• Design and oversee implementation of a robust data architecture supporting the new platform
• Ensure systems meet high standards of reliability, security, and performance through audits and safeguarding measures
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including government entities and vendors

Requirements

• Ability to establish and enforce architecture principles, standards, and best practices
• Experience evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies, frameworks, and methodologies
• Capability to manage integration of various components across platform ecosystems
• Expertise in designing data governance policies and ensuring compliance with relevant national regulations
• Skill in communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to resolve complex technical challenges and remove blockers for development teams
• Experience staying updated on emerging technologies and recommending improvements
• Capability to build a culture of innovation, agility, and technical excellence
