WebMethods API Developer

Job Summary

This role focuses on developing and managing APIs and integration services using webMethods technologies. It includes handling API configurations, ensuring security, and maintaining reliable integration solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and enhance APIs and integration services with webMethods Flow language following best practices.
• Oversee daily operations of webMethods Integration Server, including configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Configure and manage APIs through webMethods API Gateway, including exposure and deployment.
• Implement JMS messaging solutions using Publish/Subscribe and Producer/Consumer models.
• Handle Terracotta caching tasks such as reading, updating, and deleting cached data.
• Apply threading and asynchronous processing in Flow services for efficient execution.
• Develop mechanisms like circuit breakers, retries, and error handling to enhance service reliability.
• Set up API Gateway policies, monitor API usage, and analyze performance metrics.

Requirements

• 6+ years of practical experience in webMethods development and API integration.
• Expertise in webMethods Flow language, service development, and Integration Server.
• Experience with webMethods API Gateway configuration, API exposure, and deployment.
• Knowledge of JMS messaging patterns including Publish/Subscribe and Producer/Consumer.
• Hands-on experience with Terracotta caching and cache management.
• Ability to implement threading, circuit breakers, retry strategies, and exception handling.
• Familiarity with API Gateway policies, analytics, and OAuth 2.0 authentication.
• Understanding of SSL certificates, PFX files, and secure API communication.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work onsite.
