Job Summary
This role involves designing and providing technical support for solar PV projects, including on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid systems, ensuring effective project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design solar PV systems for on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid applications.
- Carry out technical calculations such as inverter selection, string sizing, and sizing of cables and batteries.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities, material lists, project quotations, Single-Line Diagrams, 3D layouts, and technical proposals.
- Prepare and review material submittals to meet project specifications.
- Coordinate with customers during the design phase and address technical questions.
- Conduct site surveys, shading assessments, and resolve technical issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in solar PV design and technical support.
- Proficiency with SketchUp, PVsyst, and AutoCAD software.
- Fluent in written and spoken Arabic and English.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Based in Amman, Jordan, with availability for site visits.
